When my finance and I were searching for a home our budget was limited and we ended up looking at a lot of short sales and foreclosures.  Anyone who is bought one will tell you what a nightmare they can be.  This also means we looked at a large number of places.  When we found a home we dealt with the foreclosure fiasco with Melvin helping us through every step of the way.  At the end of the long process it came to light that the Condo Association into which we were buying was in financial distress and our purchase fell through.  Melvin met us the following day and we started our entire search over.  He recommended not settling for a runner up and to find a place we loved.  In the end we did and couldn’t be happier.  We both learned to Trust Melvin very quickly and he understood exactly what we were looking for.  We didn’t have to tell him what we were thinking about a place because he knew.  We couldn’t have done it without him.  Almost everyday for months something would come up and we would have questions.  In fact I still call him to ask questions related to being a new home owner.  He always makes himself available.  I cannot describe the level of Trust I have with Melvin.  I would recommend him to anyone.

For five months a family member of mine searched for a house to buy.  After making no progress with two prior Real Estate brokers, I contacted Melvin.  I must say that it was a wise decision. Since so much time had already lapsed with the prior brokers, my family member had one month to buy a home before leaving the country for a month long vacation.  Melvin did not disappoint me. Within a week he found a home at an ideal location and the price was within the price range we were looking to buy.  We were impressed!

As first-time homeowners, we can honestly say that without Melvin’s help we would not have the house that we do today.  There were many stressful moments and some setbacks before we closed on our house, but Melvin was able to guide us through the entire process providing valuable advice and support.

Melvin’s experience was key when looking at properties since he was able to understand our needs and point out details that we would have overlooked in homes, like storage space or floor plans and that helped in making decisions on what we wanted.  When we did find our dream home, he went above and beyond working with our lenders and the seller/builder until we closed on the property.  I remember even on the morning before our closing, he was there with the builder going over all the final details to make sure everything went smoothly.

When I moved to Boston I didn’t know a single person but my co-workers. My company introduced me to Real Estate agent. I realized after the first time going out with this person they weren’t the right one for me.
